Coking Coal Index Report Energy Publishing© began publishing its new suite of price indexes for coking coal on February 26, 2010. The three indexes are: 1) CCQ© , based on premium hard coking coal shipped from Queensland, 2) CCH-LOW©, based on premium low volatile coking coal shipped from the East Coast of the United States, and 3) CCH-HIGH©, a Type "A" high volatile coking coal also shipped from the U.S. East Coast.
